We had so much fun on our first Normandy fishing trip that we decided to do another. Seth has been dying to get some driving time in on the little tin boat, so we figured Saturday would be a great time for him to get more experience on the lake.
Normandy is always pretty and the weather was great that day. As you can see, we didn't have a lot of pressure from other fisherman.
We didn't have much luck with the bass. As we pulled up, several fisherman were leaving the lake and said no one was catching anything that day. Not the best way to start off a trip. Even though we didn't catch any bass, we did great with the catfish and caught several nice ones with minnows.
Sammy has surprised us with how much she loves fishing. She is sure to go with us any chance she gets.
Sammy has been the master of the Bluegill this summer. On every trip she catches the most or the biggest fish. After this pic she said it was the best kiss she had all summer.
Pulling out the boat at the end of the day.
Downtown
Normandy is really cute. It's tiny, but has a lot of character.
