After using the same pair of glasses for about 15 years, we decided it was time for me to get some new ones. I thought these were kind of cool but Suz and the kids vetoed them
Seth continues to do well on his mission and is getting into the swing of things. Here he is teaching a lesson.
He's also been exploring the bukkid and seeing the sights.
Me and Suzanna decided to take advantage of the empty nest and go to the cabin for a few days. I was finally able to talk Suz into riding the skylift to the top of the mountain.
I also talked her into going across the longest suspension bridge in the world (or America, or Tennessee, or something like that)
Suz was so brave. She even crossed the glass section in the middle. It took a little bit of convincing though
We also cavorted around Dollywood. The place just brings out the kid in you.
We also got wild and crazy doing some thrill rides like the carousel.
Sammy got a new dog that she loves more than life itself. His name is Milo and he's a cutie
Sawyer continues his missionary training.
Sarah had a business trip to New York. Her and Sammy were able to get together and had a great time.
Derzie and Sadie are enjoying all the grass in Pen B.
Sawyer keeps meeting so many people at the MTC. Here he is with our family friend Maddy.
Signs that summer is winding down. The oak is starting to turn.
We had a great surprise. My friend Cecil from France and his family came to visit us in Nashville. I had met Cecil when he was our guide on our trip to Verdun and we became pen pals. It was a lot of fun to turn the tables and take him on a tour of Nashville.
