September Happenings

Sawyer continues to work hard at the MTC, getting ready to go to the Netherlands.  We're sure missing him.
Going over to the old gym and seeing his name on the Wall of Fame didn't help with missing him.  He had such a great career.
Suz and I decided to make the most of the late summer heat blast and go watch the BYU vs UT football game.  It was soooo hot!
It ended up being a rough trip for a number of reasons.  About the only good thing that happened was BYU beating UT on their home field.  That was  a lot of fun.
On our drive home, we decided to take the backroads and see some new parts of TN.  I liked this picture of Suz.
We also reunited with our cruise buddies for a fun night out in Columbia at a friend's daughter's wedding reception.
We're so proud of Seth.  He continues to learn Tagalog and work hard on his mission.  Here he is teaching a family.
Since we're empty nesters now, we decided to go to the cabin and spend some time in the mountains.  It's a beautiful time of year to be there and the sights were amazing.
Sunset from Clingman's Dome.
The moment we have been dreading.  Digging a well at the property.  After three tries, we finally got enough water to be legit.  It's not a gusher, but it's good enough to build.  It's a very stressful process and I'm glad it's over.
Sarah had another trip to NYC, so Suz decided to coordinate and go up too for a reunion of my 3 pretty ladies.
Sammy showing off her office.
Deeper inside a real NYC office.  So proud of Sammer's making it in the big city.
Little Milo keeps growing.  He's a cutie
The girls having a good time in NYC!  I'm jealous I wasn't there.  It looks like a lot of fun.
Gettin' some culture at the museum.

One nice benefit of the hot weather is getting to go out to the lake.  We had a great time boating around on the bass boat.
